The Beatles were often surrounded
by an animal entourage during photo sessions...here's a gallery of those
pictures.
"I've got
a cat. A white Persian. Called Corky - you know, after Corky the Cat
on the front of the comic. Mind you, it's been some time since I've read
it, but it was my favourite comic when I was a kid. I got my cat from
television in a way. You know that high-speed gas advertisement with the
cat picking its way across the carpet? Well, it didn't sell me gas, but it
did sell me a white Persian. He's a bit odd, though. He won't eat
canned cat food at all. He prefers all the tinned dog meats like Pal and
Lassie. Still, I'll worry about that when he starts to bark!"

Paul with his beloved sheepdog, Martha, who he
immortalized in "Martha My Dear"!

Georgie with one of his Siamese kitties.

Paul with a kitten...and trusty old Martha in a heap
by his side.

George with one of his kitties. Is it just me,
or do they have the same eyes?

Looks like the cat wasn't so tolerant of the photos
session here.

How sweet are these two?

Love the dog's expression.

Hands-down one of my favorite John pictures of all
time.
