VINTAGE MERCHANDISE
It seems to me that 1964 (and the
'60s in general) must have been a veritable paradise for fans of the Beatles
with the huge influx of Beatles merchandise that rolled into production.
There are certainly countless Beatles products being produced today, but only in
the 60s could you waltz into a department store and buy a pair of Beatles
nylons.
Below is an illustrated list of a pittance of the vast amount of Beatles
merchandise that was marketed in the 1960s. I've also included some
reference links that will provide you with tons of information about some of the
vintage Beatles products I've spotlighted here. (Please note that this is
not a sale page).
Feel free to send in images of or
information about any fab Beatles merch you come across!

I love that this lunchbox &
thermos from 1966 have a Beatles-in-space thing going on.

Back during the golden age of
Beatles merchandise, you could accessorize your home and life with Fabness in
every way conceivable. I really don't think that's an exaggeration.
Evidence: Beatles talc powder.

I love Paul's face in this
illustration. These ice cream bars were produced in New Jersey in 1964.
They came with a special Beatle offer too, as the label notes: if you sent in
three ice cream wrappers & 50¢, you'd get a Beatle coin in return.

These slightly terrifying
Beatles bobblehead dolls were produced in 1964 for Car Mascots, Inc. and were
sold at Woolworths.

For no more than 49¢,
Beatlemaniacs in the '60s could buy their very own plastic Beatle Brushes. [more

Rather colorful plastic Beatles
figurines. I particularly enjoy the logo, with Paul's head spinning around
in some sort of flame.

1964 also saw Milton Bradley's
release of a Beatles board game. [more

The Beatles even had their faces
on gum packs.

Nestle had a Beatles offer on
the back of their Quick cartons: for only $1.50, you could order four inflatable
Beatle dolls. [more

(Delicious?) Beatles licorice.

Beatles textured mesh seam-free
nylons made in England.

In 1964, you could finally throw
a party in style by using this Beatles serving tray.
