Purpose
It's been over thirty years since the Beatles disbanded, but their following
remains just as strong and dedicated as ever. Those four Liverpudlian lads
paved the way for countless musicians to follow. Their music continues to
inspire and enlighten people of all ages; there was something simply
indescribable about the Fab Four. I can't quite grasp the enormity of
their impact on the music world (in terms of both musicians and listeners); they
had the "special something" that makes people still obsess over
them.
While looking through one of my Beatle books, I noticed a
picture of a piece of 60s memorabilia: a button proudly proclaiming, "I Still Love
the Beatles." This clique, then, is a way of uniting people who still love
the Beatles - the fans to whom the Beatles will always be the eternal gods of
rock.
